A.D.A.M. Names John H. George as Senior Vice President, Sales

ATLANTA - (BUSINESS WIRE) - A.D.A.M., Inc. (Nasdaq: ADAM), a leading provider of health information services and benefits management solutions, announced today that it has appointed John H. George as Senior Vice President, Sales. George will report to Kevin Noland, A.D.A.M.'s President and Chief Executive Officer.

A seasoned healthcare executive, George most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Per-Se Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded healthcare software technology firm acquired by McKesson Corporation in January 2007. Under George's direction, the company experienced significant growth within its business services and technology solutions for healthcare. George also was directly responsible for winning key contracts with some of the largest U.S. healthcare providers, and negotiating key contracts with the top U.S. healthcare payers. In addition to his sales role, George served as Per Se's Senior Vice President and CTO of Research and Development, overseeing all software development efforts. Prior to his engagement with Per Se, he held the role of Vice President of North American Operations for Synavant, a large developer of PRM/CRM solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, that was acquired by Dendrite.
