Connect Your Hospital To Healthcare Consumers On The Go

Medzio for the iPhoneWould you like to provide your community and patients with 24/7, on-the-go access to health information that’s branded with your hospital name?

There’s an app for that!

Tap into the growing mobile community with mHealth2Go, A.D.A.M.’s new iPhone application that you can customize to include your hospital’s branding including your hospital name, logo and hyperlinks to your websites.

Users seeking care on the go can search for local medical facilities and healthcare providers and access location, contact information and maps.

mHealth2Go is designed to change the way people think about how they get health information by providing consumers with actionable health information at hand, when they need it. The application provides health information on the go, by combining A.D.A.M.’s Symptom Navigator, first aid information, and GPS-enabled local listings for healthcare providers with maps and directions from a fully customizable home page with a customizable banner link. Users can search health topics by symptom with customized views and health topics by gender and age.

Physician-developed and reviewed articles include the same continually updated information as the same article in the A.D.A.M. Encyclopedia, with hyperlinks to additional information and images. Consumers can find and connect to local healthcare by searching within a specific mile radius using their current location or find local care for a specific zip code. Results for each healthcare facility include links to Google maps, the ability to connect immediately via phone, and links to the website for more information. The closest urgent care clinics are highlighted on the map, and phone number, website, address, and directions to the facility are provided.

Let us help your hospital reach the growing market of mobile consumers. Contact your client relationship manager or email healthsolutions@adamcorp.com for more information.

Embedded Messaging, A Cost Effective Way to Increase SEO

Embedded MessagingLooking to increase search engine optimization for your website? A.D.A.M. offers Embedded Messaging within your A.D.A.M. content, so you can promote relevant areas of your hospital’s website such as clinical departments, admissions, or appointment scheduling. Include your own calls to action and hyperlinks within A.D.A.M. health articles that drive users to specific pages on your website. Give visitors seeking more information about a health topic an easy way to contact your facility and promote community education services, events, hotline phone numbers or clinic information. Your customized text makes the article unique, to help search engine placement and provide a competitive advantage.

Embedded Messaging works through a simple two-step process. First, you decide where you want a message to appear, on a per article basis, per service line, or globally. Once we have your message and location preference, we then modify our code so that when the page is built it also builds the embedded message within the article. And it works for either self or A.D.A.M. hosted content! For more information, contact your client relationship manager today.
