A.D.A.M. Interactive Anatomy (AIA 4) is an exciting interactive learning application that dramatically enhances the study of human anatomy and related topics. AIA 4 includes an updated interface with enhanced sorting, organization and visual navigation. With the new open dialog window you can display, sort, select, and filter content by body system, body region, view, etc.
View Multiple Open Windows
View images in multiple windows at the same time to compare the same structure in anterior, lateral, medial and posterior views.
Content Additions
3D Anatomy Library Volume 2
3-D library volume 2 comes standard in AIA 4, and includes the heart, lungs, skull, brain, ear, eye, and the female and male reproductive systems. With our 3-D library, you can visualize hundreds of specific structures down to the smallest details. In addition to standard rotation, 3D models provide for exploded views, transparency effects and fly-through sequences. The models are derived from sectioned data from the Visible Human Project and are anatomically correct.
Animation Library and Viewer
Included in AIA 4 is a database of 28 narrated clinical/health animations covering topics related to physiology, disease, and surgery. You can display these animations or even your own animations in the AIA 4 Animation Viewer! The viewer supports AVI, QuickTime, Shockwave, Flash, or Windows Media ™ formats. It’s also easy to use and customizable! With a simple right click on your mouse, you lock window resizing, show or hide toolbars.
Dissectible Atlas of Anatomy
The most comprehensive digital database of detailed anatomical images in the world, including illustrated, fully dissectible male and female bodies. The database is peer-reviewed by a team of leading anatomists to insure accuracy. Includes point and click identification capabilities of over 20,000 anatomical structures. With a simple scroll bar control, you can peel away structures of the human body layer-by-layer in anterior, posterior, lateral, and medial views.
Clinical Illustration Library
We’ve included over 570 Clinical Illustrations to apply anatomy learning in a clinical setting. The illustrations show cellular components, disease states, injuries, first aid, surgical procedures, and more!

Over 400 supplemental "pinned" atlas illustrations, cadaver prosection photographs, and radiographs are included to greater enhance your experience.
